Gurupurnima

In India, the full moon of the month of Ashada (July-August) is honored as the most auspicious and important of the entire year. This moon's luminous brilliance and perfect form are seen as expressions of the Guru's gift of grace and the attainment of Self-realization. Siddha Yogis focus on the practice of dakshina during this holiday.

Shri Guru Gita: 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Chanting Cave in Shaktinilaya Hall and Shambho Hall for families with children: 10:30 am to 5:15 p.m.

Celebration Dinner: 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Siddha Yoga Celebration Satsang in Honor of Gurupurnima: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Shaktinilaya Hall will close at 7:00 pm for approximately six minutes while an abhanga is sung. Please be in your seat by 6:55 pm.

Siddha Yoga Celebration Satsang in Honor of Bhagavan Nityananda's Punyatithi

This satsang celebrates the day Bhagavan Nityananda left his physical form and merged with universal Consciousness. In the scriptural tradition of India, it is said that at the time or anniversary of a great being's passing, blessings are bestowed upon those who remember them with love and devotion.

Shaktinilaya Hall will close at 10:45 am for approximately seven minutes while a bhajan is sung. Please be in your seat by 10:40 am.

Siddha Yoga Blue Pearl Retreat

Blue Pearl Retreat Orientation: Friday, February 8. 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

In the Blue Pearl Retreat, Siddha Yoga students will explore the divine vision of the Self in the form of the inner light. They also join in silent meditation walks, hatha yoga stretches, receive detailed instructions on breathing and posture, and learn sacred practices by which meditation becomes deep and powerful.
