You are invited to participate in a satsang on the Siddha Yoga practice of dakshina, which is a focus of study and practice during the monthlong celebration of Gurupurnima.
We offer dakshina in recognition of the significance of Shri Guru’s presence in our lives and on this Earth. In this satsang, participants will further their understanding of the importance that dakshina practice has for their sadhana. Participants in this satsang will listen to and reflect on excerpts from the exposition “The Tradition of Dakshina” by Ami Bansal, available for study on the Siddha Yoga path website.
Please bring a journal and pen to the satsang, as there will be time for journaling.
We will also chant and meditate.
If you are new to the Siddha Yoga path, you are invited to attend a Welcome Orientation, which will occur 30 minutes before the satsang. The orientation includes a brief introduction to the Siddha Yoga path and to the Siddha Yoga Ashram in Oakland.
No fee or registration required.
