Siddha Yoga two-day music courses are opportunities for Siddha Yoga students ages 13 and older to learn musical skills that will support Siddha Yoga chants at their Siddha Yoga Ashrams, meditation centers, and chanting and meditation groups.

The courses will include group sessions and individual practice time. At the end of each course, participants will be matched with mentors who will meet with them either in person or remotely to support their ongoing learning.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for the Level I courses.

The prerequisites for the Level II courses are the completion of the Level I course or its equivalent and at least six months of regular practice and playing in Siddha Yoga satsangs. Registrants will be contacted for an informal remote video assessment to make sure this course is right for them.

Saturday, September 5, 2026, 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and
Sunday, September 6, 2026, 12:00–4:30 p.m.

Please note that minors need to have a parent or guardian on the Ashram premises when they are in the Ashram.

Accommodations

You are welcome to stay at the Siddha Yoga Ashram in Oakland. Requests for accommodations must be made at least seven days before your arrival date. Accommodations include three meals daily. Click for details about accommodations.
